Action items

Following the closure of the International Office in Kansas City, Beta Sigma Phi chapters and councils are utilizing several tools to network and share ideas that can be of importance to sisters nationwide and internationally.

Here is what the Executive Board of the Metro Atlanta Council is doing at this time:

• Our Metro Atlanta Council Vice-President, Jeanee McJilton, immediately obtained updated listings of active chapters in the State of Georgia as well as listings for the Carolinas, Tennesee and Alabama. We are presently vetting these listings to identify active chapters in Georgia and build an effective communication network in our state. Future plans include networking with our bordering states and beyond.
  

• A new internet tool has emerged called “Band”. Band presently features a U.S. National Band and Bands for many states. The information sheet following this information page contains access information for these bands.. Bands is a great tool for determining where our active chapters and councils are functioning, and we will be working to expand our GA network using this tool.
  

• ‍”Revive Beta Sigma Phi” on Facebook has been a wealth of ideas and information. Again, the Facebook page address is on the information sheet below this page.. Be sure to check it out!

  • The Metro Atlanta Council regularly updates our Facebook page. The page’s web address follows on
    the next sheet. Two of our three MAC chapters maintain Facebook pages. Their page information is also noted on the next sheet.
